DHL European Financial Services covers two locations: Maastricht and Brussels. The Maastricht location is for its people better known as EFSS (European Financial Shared Services) and the location Brussels as BAC (Brussels Accounting Center).
Both locations form a virtual organization as of October 2006 under one management team. This way both organizations benefit from experience and knowledge: both in operations (processes and systems) as in the support function. The bigger scale allows for continuous improvement.
